HiStory Hospitality was founded in 2019 by Tom Sellers. Tom's vision for his restaurants extends beyond just food; it's about creating a community and an experience that resonates with all our guests, where every detail is thoughtfully curated and Tom’s passion for hospitality shines through.

Our flagship restaurant, 2 Michelin-starred Restaurant Story celebrates its 11th year and recently reopened after undergoing significant refurbishment and the addition of an upstairs dining area with outdoor seating.
In March 2023 we opened Story Cellar, a Parisian-inspired rotisserie-style restaurant with counter dining, in Neal’s Yard, Seven Dials.
May 2023 also saw Tom partner with 1 Hotel Mayfair to launch a new feature restaurant, Dovetale, situated in the newly walkable Dover Yard. Dovetale is grounded in a deep respect for seasonal, organic and locally sourced ingredients, with dishes served from the grill and an abundant raw bar.
Tom has a number of close brand partners and affiliates who he works with throughout the year. These include various projects, from special events and private dinners to brand consultancy and think tanks. These events are run by our events team, Once Upon A Time, launched in 2020.
