HiStory Hospitality are seeking a friendly and professional Breakfast Waiter / Waitress to join the opening team of a new restaurant within a stunning country estate in Buckinghamshire.


This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a launch team, delivering warm and attentive morning service in a beautiful countryside environment, while supporting the smooth transition of the restaurant from breakfast through to lunch service.


Breakfast Waiter / Waitress Requirements

  • Motivated and personable Breakfast Waiter / Waitress with experience in restaurants, cafés or hotel dining environments.
  • A natural host who enjoys creating a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere for guests at the start of their day.
  • Strong understanding of breakfast service, including taking orders, delivering food and beverages and ensuring attentive, efficient table service.
  • Ability to provide excellent menu knowledge, including breakfast dishes, beverages and dietary or allergen requirements.
  • Confident working closely with both front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure smooth and well-paced service.
  • Responsible for supporting the transition of the dining room from breakfast service to lunch setup, including resetting tables, adjusting restaurant layout and preparing service stations.
  • Flexibility to assist with lunch service when required, supporting the wider restaurant team during busy periods.
  • Excellent attention to detail in table setup, cleanliness and overall restaurant presentation.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills to maintain efficiency during busy service periods.
  • Friendly, professional communication skills with a warm and welcoming approach to guests.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends and holidays as required in a hospitality environment.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences.

Tom Sellers


Hailing from Nottingham, Tom Sellers is a two Michelin-starred Chef who opened his first restaurant, Restaurant Story, at 26. At launch, Tom’s unique approach garnered significant critical acclaim, being awarded a Michelin Star just five months after opening, with a second star following in 2021.


Tom learned his craft from some of the world’s most influential chefs and spent time working alongside the likes of Tom Aikens in London, Thomas Keller at three Michelin-starred Per Se in New York, and René Redzepi at two Michelin-starred Noma in Copenhagen, all before the age of 21.


Story Cellar, a Parisian-inspired rotisserie-style restaurant, opened in 2023 to much critical acclaim, followed by Dovetale at 1 Hotel Mayfair, where the restaurant offers a sustainably minded, produce-led à la carte menu of reimagined European classics, bolstered by dishes cooked over the grill and an abundant raw bar.
