Chef de Partie Requirements
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or an ambitious Demi Chef de Partie ready to take the next step within a premium restaurant environment
- A genuine passion for cooking with exceptional seasonal produce and delivering dishes to the highest standards
- Strong technical cooking skills with excellent attention to detail, consistency and presentation
- Ability to confidently manage your own section during preparation and service
- Experience working in a fast-paced, quality-driven kitchen where teamwork and precision are essential
- Excellent knowledge of food safety, hygiene and HACCP procedures
- Calm, organised and resilient under pressure with the ability to maintain high standards throughout service
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic and a desire to continually develop your skills alongside some of the industry's best chefs
- A collaborative team player who takes pride in contributing to an exceptional guest experience
Tom Sellers
Hailing from Nottingham, Tom Sellers is a two Michelin-starred Chef who opened his first restaurant, Restaurant Story, at the age of 26. His unique approach earned a Michelin Star just five months after opening, with a second following in 2021.
Tom trained under some of the world's most influential chefs, including Tom Aikens in London, Thomas Keller at three Michelin-starred Per Se in New York, and René Redzepi at two Michelin-starred Noma in Copenhagen, all before the age of 21.
Story Cellar, a Parisian-inspired rotisserie, opened in 2023 to widespread acclaim, followed by Dovetale at 1 Hotel Mayfair, where sustainably sourced, produce-led European classics are cooked over the grill and showcased alongside an abundant raw bar.
