HiStory Hospitality are seeking an exceptional Clubhouse Manager to lead operations at a golf clubhouse within a stunning country estate in Buckinghamshire.


This is a unique opportunity to oversee a well-established clubhouse environment, delivering a premium yet welcoming experience for members and guests, with a strong focus on service standards, community engagement and operational excellence.


Clubhouse Manager Requirements

  • An experienced Clubhouse Manager, Restaurant Manager or Hospitality Manager with a strong background in premium, member-led environments.
  • Proven ability to lead an established front-of-house operation, maintaining and elevating service standards.
  • A strong understanding of clubhouse culture, member engagement and community-focused hospitality.
  • Experience managing food and beverage service, bar operations and events within a high-quality setting.
  • Ability to lead, train and develop an existing front-of-house team while fostering a positive and professional culture.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills, including rota planning, stock control, cost management and reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of licensing laws, health & safety and operational compliance.
  • A hands-on leadership style with high attention to detail and guest experience.
  • Confidence liaising with golf operations, estate management and key stakeholders.
  • Experience delivering member events, competitions and seasonal clubhouse activity.
  • A calm and solutions-focused approach in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and key golf calendar dates.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality, member satisfaction and countryside service culture.
  • Warm, professional and personable manner, acting as an ambassador for the clubhouse.

Tom Sellers


Hailing from Nottingham, Tom Sellers is a two Michelin-starred Chef who opened his first restaurant, Restaurant Story, at 26. At launch, Tom’s unique approach garnered significant critical acclaim, being awarded a Michelin Star just five months after opening, with a second star following in 2021. Tom learned his craft from some of the world’s most influential chefs and spent time working alongside the likes of Tom Aikens in London, Thomas Keller at three Michelin-starred Per Se in New York, and René Redzepi at two Michelin-starred Noma in Copenhagen, all before the age of 21.

Story Cellar, a Parisian-inspired rotisserie-style restaurant, opened in 2023 to much critical acclaim, followed by Dovetale at 1 Hotel Mayfair, where the restaurant offers a sustainably minded, produce-led à la carte menu of reimagined European classics, bolstered by dishes cooked over the grill and an abundant raw bar.
